KIDOODLES PATTERN SOX TOPS (Boot Toppers)
These are Great! If you really don't like to make "true" knitted socks with all the heel, foot, and toe shaping, these are for you. You will need to purchase a good quality ready made pair of socks to fit. You will then removed the ribbed top section, knit a great plain, striped, fair isle, or motif top and attach to the purchased sock foot. I suggest that you purchase the same blend of sock to match as close as possible to the yarn you plan to use. I prefer 100% cotton for both. These can be made for Boot Toppers Also.

The standard Tailored Cardigan is very cute.
The bottom front edge has the tailored points. The front edge is unfinished with buttonholes near the edge. We suggest using small pearl buttons.
You may also finish the front edge with a crochet trim if desired. A simple single row of crochet around the neckline and points is all that is needed. No ribber needed.

This was originally made in Chenille from Silk City Fibers but can be made in any yarn that matches the gauge. This pattern has the nice mock turtleneck in a roll of stockinet instead of the usual neckline rib. The bottom edges roll buy you use a rib if you prefer.
