To Anyone That Knits or Crochets Hats. Either Hand Knitting or Machine knitting. Join our fun Contest and win prizes.
Let's "Keep Maine Warm".
Our Hat Contest is continuing for 2025. Enter your hats to win some wonderful prizes. The hats are then donated to the needy in my area to help "Keep Maine Warm".
All sizes and colors can be sent. They will be greatly appreciated.
This contests judging will be in mid November, 2025 so your hats need to be received by me on or before November 15, 2025.
This is what I would like to do. They don't have to be your own original pattern. Make them colorful, make them plain, make them however you desire. Any style, shape or color. I do ask that they be made from acrylic yarn or a yarn that is machine washable and dryable Enter as many hats as you would like. They can be hand knit, machine knit, crocheted, whatever method you like. Let's make as many children and needy adults as warm as possible next winter. Last year's hats went to some elementary schools, senior citizens, homeless shelters, food kitchens, local town office for Christmas Baskets and other needy citizens. You should have seen the happy faces on the children, especially when they found out they could keep them. They were worn with pride. You can send as many as you would like.

VERY IMPORTANT
Make sure that you attach a piece of paper to your hat with your name, address, phone number and email address if you have one. Hats need to be received here no later then November 15, 2025. It really makes it difficult for the judges if you don't label them.
